Riyadh, January 30, 2025 – The Third International Conference on the History of King Abdulaziz commenced on Monday evening at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) in Riyadh. Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the conference is dedicated to exploring the theme “Economy in the Reign of King Abdulaziz: Empowerment, Development, and Sustainability.”


The first day of the conference featured three insightful sessions, where researchers and specialists from across the globe gathered to contribute their expertise. The discussions delved deeply into the economic policies of King Abdulaziz and their long-lasting impact on the sustainable development and establishment of the Kingdom’s national economy. Through these scholarly sessions, attendees highlighted the transformative role King Abdulaziz played in shaping Saudi Arabia’s economic foundation and ensuring its prosperity. The conference aims to continue fostering dialogue and research into the economic vision and strategies of one of the Kingdom’s most influential historical figures.
