In 2027, Saudi Arabia will host the eleventh World Water Forum.

The Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture expressed gratitude for Saudi officials' support in improving water and sanitation services and emphasized the commitment to improving the Kingdom's global standing in water.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the 11th World Water Forum in 2027, as announced during the closing ceremony of the tenth session of the World Water Forum in Bali.

- The Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture underscored the Kingdom's commitment to raising its standing in the water world while expressing gratitude to Saudi officials for their assistance in enhancing water and sanitation services.



The date is May 24, 2024, in Bali. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that it will host the 11th World Water Forum in 2027 during the closing ceremony of the tenth World Water Forum session in Indonesia. The closing ceremony also had the heads of state of the participating nations, the ministers, officials from 160 other nations, and representatives from many international organizations. The 11th World Water Forum, with the theme "Action for a Better Future," underlines the leadership of the Kingdom in addressing the global water concerns, endorsing the regional and global water initiatives, and meeting the sustainable development goals in order to complete the Kingdom's Vision 2030.


Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, the Environment, Water, and Agriculture Minister, thanked the officials of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their continued support to the water sector. The whole supply chain, according to him, is in a better position to offer water and sanitation services. The minister also said the leadership is committed to elevating the status of the Kingdom in the area of water in the international arena, which made hosting this important international event possible.


His Royal Highness Crown Prince has announced that the headquarters of the World Water Organization will be in Riyadh. With the help of different organizations and the support of people all over the world, the organization wants to take a better stand in solving the water challenges of the world.
