In Aden, Yemen, KSrelief signs an agreement to run a rehabilitation center and artificial limb project.

Riyadh, May 11, 2024: To carry out the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project in Yemen's Aden Governorate, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the International Wars and Disasters victims' protection Association (IRVD) signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday.


For Operations and Programs Engineering, KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General. The agreement was signed by Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz at the organization's Riyadh headquarters.


People with special needs will receive physical rehabilitation services, according to Dr. Abdullah Al-Muallem, director of the KSrelief Health and Environmental Assistance Department. 2,308 people will benefit from the project's diagnosis and treatment plan determination for each patient, prosthetic limb installation for beneficiaries, and functional rehabilitation services for prosthetic limbs.


The deal is reached within the relief and humanitarian initiatives carried out by the Kingdom through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm, to lessen the suffering of the brethren Yemeni people in the midst of the humanitarian crisis.
