In April, the Prosthetics Center in Taiz, Yemen, provided medical services to 329 beneficiaries with support from KSrelief.



On May 18, 2024, in Taiz, SPA, 329 Yemeni people who had lost limbs in April 2024 were able to obtain a variety of medical services from the initiative that was running the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the Yemeni Taiz Governorate. Funds from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) enabled this initiative.Males received 69% of the 821 services offered throughout the month, while females received 31%. The beneficiaries included 14% displaced individuals and 86% local residents.They received physical therapy services, expert consultations, limb measurements, and prosthetic delivery in addition to prosthetic delivery and maintenance.This is a component of the relief and humanitarian efforts that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is providing through KSrelief, which is its humanitarian arm, in an effort to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and reduce the amount of suffering that the Yemeni people are experiencing.
