In Arsal, KSrelief hosts a community and offers healthcare services to Syrian refugees.

KSRelief’s healthcare project in Arsal, Lebanon, provided 23,386 medical services to 12,676 patients in October 2024, including services across clinics, pharmacy, laboratory, and mental health programs.

Beirut, January 7, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is continuing its vital healthcare support program for Syrian refugees and the local population in the town of Arsal, Lebanon, providing essential medical services to those in need. This ongoing initiative is a testament to Saudi Arabia's commitment to alleviating the suffering caused by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria, with a special focus on the refugees who have been displaced by the conflict and the host community in Lebanon.

In October 2024, the Arsal Primary Health Care Center, a key facility established as part of this humanitarian project, served a total of 12,676 patients, delivering a total of 23,386 medical services across various healthcare departments. These services spanned multiple areas, including general and specialized clinics, pharmacy, laboratory diagnostics, nursing care, and both community and mental health programs. The center's comprehensive approach to healthcare ensures that patients receive not only immediate medical attention but also long-term support for their well-being and mental health, which has been particularly important in a region heavily impacted by displacement and trauma.

The patient demographic at the center reflected the diverse community of Arsal, with 37% of those treated being male and 63% female. Of the total patients served, 55% were Syrian refugees, while the remaining 45% were residents of Arsal, demonstrating the center’s role in addressing the healthcare needs of both displaced individuals and the local population. The program's inclusive approach ensures that no one is left behind, providing crucial medical services regardless of nationality or status.

KSrelief's ongoing efforts in Arsal are part of a broader humanitarian mission to provide health, education, and emergency relief to vulnerable populations, particularly in conflict zones. Through such initiatives, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to make significant strides in offering assistance to those most affected by displacement and instability, striving to restore dignity and improve the quality of life for displaced Syrians and host communities in Lebanon.

The success of the Arsal Primary Health Care Center is just one example of KSrelief's dedication to sustainable development and the promotion of human well-being in regions affected by crisis. Through its humanitarian efforts, KSrelief continues to play a vital role in alleviating the suffering of displaced people and contributing to the stability and recovery of communities across the Middle East.
