Hajjah, Yemen, April 12, 2024, During February, the mobile medical clinics operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) played a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services to a total of 1,255 beneficiaries in Al-Gharza area, located within the Haradh District of Yemen's Hajjah Governorate.
Among the beneficiaries, approximately 600 individuals sought medical attention at the epidemic disease control clinic, highlighting the significant demand for disease management and prevention measures. Additionally, 331 patients received prompt care at the emergency clinic, addressing urgent medical needs effectively. Furthermore, the internal medicine clinic served 298 individuals, while the reproductive health clinic attended to 20 people, focusing on specialized healthcare services.
Moreover, the awareness and education clinic catered to 8 beneficiaries, emphasizing the importance of health education and awareness initiatives in promoting community well-being. In parallel, the nursing services department accommodated 840 patients, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to healthcare delivery. Additionally, the clinics conducted two waste-disposal activities to maintain hygiene standards and ensure environmental sustainability.
Furthermore, KSrelief distributed medications to 1,208 individuals, highlighting the organization's commitment to ensuring access to essential medicines. Lastly, 57 beneficiaries received specialized care at the surgery and dressing department, underscoring the holistic healthcare services provided by the mobile medical clinics.
