Beirut, January 5, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its commitment to alleviating the suffering of displaced and vulnerable populations in Lebanon through its ongoing Al-Amal Charity Bakery project. The project, now in its fourth phase, has made significant strides in providing food aid to those in need, particularly Syrian, Palestinian, and Lebanese host communities in northern Lebanon.
In the past week alone, the project distributed a remarkable 175,000 bags of bread to 12,500 households across the Akkar Governorate and Miniyeh District. This bread distribution initiative directly benefited 62,500 individuals, highlighting the project’s broad reach and its impact on the daily lives of these vulnerable groups. The bread bags provide essential sustenance, supporting the nutritional needs of families who are struggling due to the ongoing economic and humanitarian challenges in Lebanon.
This initiative forms part of KSrelief's comprehensive humanitarian efforts to provide aid to refugees and host communities in Lebanon. Through such projects, KSrelief plays a vital role in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's overarching goal of offering assistance to displaced populations around the world. By addressing urgent food security needs, KSrelief ensures that communities affected by crises, including refugees, can better manage their daily lives while contributing to the stability and wellbeing of Lebanon’s most vulnerable populations.
