Beirut, January 19, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully continued the implementation of the fourth phase of the Al-Amal Charity Bakery Project in Lebanon's Akkar Governorate and Miniyeh District. This crucial initiative, designed to provide essential food assistance to vulnerable communities in northern Lebanon, has made significant strides over the past week, distributing a total of 175,000 bags of bread.

The distribution, which benefited 12,500 families—equivalent to 62,500 individuals—has provided essential nourishment to Syrian, Palestinian, and host community families living in these highly vulnerable regions. The bread bags, a critical staple for many, have helped alleviate the hardships faced by displaced and impoverished families, offering them much-needed sustenance and support.

This effort forms part of a broader range of humanitarian and relief projects carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. It highlights the Kingdom’s continued commitment to addressing the needs of refugees and displaced persons in various parts of the world. By providing vital assistance such as bread, KSrelief plays an essential role in alleviating the suffering of marginalized populations, particularly in Lebanon, where the influx of refugees has created significant challenges for local communities. The Al-Amal Charity Bakery Project serves as a testament to the Kingdom's dedication to humanitarian action, aiming to bring hope and relief to those affected by conflict and displacement.
