30 May 2024, Medan. In Medan, Indonesia, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) conducted a volunteer medical mission. Catheterization therapy and cardiac surgery were part of the project. The program, which was carried out in association with the Muslim World League, involved twenty-two volunteers from a range of medical disciplines and ran from April 19 to May 26. The volunteer medical team from KSrelief completed 24 open heart operations and 124 interventional cardiac catheterizations during the campaign. The program is an outgrowth of KSrelief, the Kingdom's humanitarian arm. Globally, KSrelief is in charge of supplying underdeveloped nations with volunteer medical projects related to cardiac surgery.
