In Mina, Civil Defense Strengthens Safety Protocols for Hajj Travelers


- The General Directorate of Civil Defense has put in place measures to ensure that the pilgrims are safe while in Hajj.


- Intensified field tours to monitor risks within the camps where the pilgrims are staying.


- The General Directorate coordinates with the relevant authorities to apply the general emergency plan for Hajj and the field protection monitoring techniques in Mina.



Mina, 4th of June, 2024: Implementing a set of measures for the pilgrims' safety, intensifying the field tours to monitor the causes of risks in the camps where pilgrims are staying to perform Hajj, and following up with the institutions of Hajj pilgrimage to make them follow the instructions and procedures of safety, the General Directorate of Civil Defense raised Mina's readiness to receive the travelers. It announced in a statement that it will strengthen all the field centers, units, and teams of civil defense to enable them to fulfill all their missions. It also promised to coordinate with the concerned authorities to apply the general emergency plan of Hajj and to employ the techniques of field protection monitoring in Mina.
