In anticipation of the Hajj season, the Civil Defense General Directorate has expanded field operations and inspection rounds in Mina.
The Directorate is primarily concerned with putting policies into place that would guarantee pilgrims' protection, care, and safety throughout the Hajj.
Civil Defense officers and personnel will be coordinating with government entities responsible for civil defense operations during emergencies at the Hajj.
Arafat, June 15, 2024: In preparation for the Hajj season that will take place this year (1445 AH), the Civil Defense General Directorate has increased the number of field operations and inspection rounds in Mina. The directorate is working hard to put all the processes in place required to guarantee the safety, security, and well-being of pilgrims doing the Hajj. The directorate stressed the execution of the overall Hajj plan as well as the involvement of Civil Defense officers and staff in coordination with the appropriate governmental bodies that oversee civil defense operations in the event of an emergency during the Hajj season.
