Nangarhar, January 11, 2025 – In a continued effort to provide critical humanitarian aid, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 276 shelter bags and 276 tents in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, benefiting a total of 1,656 individuals. This distribution is part of an ongoing shelter project aimed at assisting returnees from Pakistan and those who have been severely impacted by the devastating floods in Afghanistan during 2024.
The shelter materials, which include tents, blankets, plastic mattresses, and other essential items, are being distributed as part of a larger initiative to provide urgent relief to the displaced and vulnerable populations in Afghanistan. This project, which will ultimately distribute 4,882 shelter items across multiple cities, is set to benefit a total of 29,292 individuals. The items are essential for ensuring that families and communities affected by the displacement and natural disasters have access to adequate shelter during these difficult times.
