According to the approved plan for the current Hajj season, the lower half of the Kiswa was raised three meters today as part of the annual custom that has been going on for quite some time.
A white cotton material, measuring two and a half meters wide and 54 meters long, covered the raised surface. We simultaneously stretched this cloth over all four sides.
There were a total of ten cranes and 36 national technical personnel who were responsible for carrying out the lifting operation.
A number of steps are often involved in the process of lifting the fabric of the Holy Kaaba often involves a number of steps. The steps include first disconnecting the corners, then removing the bottom section of the Kiswa from all sides, and finally untying the lower rope and pulling it out of the Kiswa fasteners.
After that, the Kiswa is wrapped around the Holy Kaaba with a height rise of three meters, standing parallel to it at a height difference of one meter, and being fastened on all sides.
Next, remove the three lamps and secure the white fabric individually on each side. Next, we place the lanterns on the white cloth until we reach the final stage of wrapping the lower part of the curtain on the door of the Holy Kaaba.
