In September 2023, KSrelief's Masam project destroyed 743 Yemeni mines

Aden, October 01, 2023, 743 mines, including 115 anti-tank mines and 618 unexploded ordnances, were demolished as part of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) to clear mines in Yemen during the fourth week of September 2023. There have been as many as 417,103 mines decommissioned since the project's inception. Through the project, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, aims to rid Yemeni fields of the mines that the Houthi militia has indiscriminately buried, killing and injuring children, women, and the elderly.
