Aden, September 27, 2023, In the third week of September of this year, 866 mines, including 10 anti-personnel mines, 125 anti-tank mines, 728 unexploded ordnance, and three explosive devices, were removed from various regions of Yemen as part of the Masam project, which is being carried out by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to clear Yemeni lands of mines. Since the project's beginning, 416,360 mines have been removed, thanks to this task. Through KSrelief and the Masam project, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is still committed to removing mines that the Houthi militia has haphazardly buried on Yemeni soil, playing a critical role in safeguarding the security and welfare of Yemeni residents.
