Idlib, Syria, February 2, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its vital efforts to provide aid to those impacted by the devastating earthquake in northern Syria. On Saturday, KSrelief distributed 672 food baskets and 672 hygiene kits in Ma'arrat Misrin, located in the Idlib Governorate. The distribution directly benefitted 4,032 individuals, offering critical support to families in need.
This initiative is part of the second phase of a larger humanitarian project that focuses on alleviating the suffering of the populations affected by the recent earthquake. The relief packages are essential in providing the most basic of needs—nutritious food and sanitation supplies—helping to maintain the health and well-being of those displaced and struggling in the aftermath of the disaster.
KSrelief, the humanitarian arm of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has long been committed to offering assistance to countries and communities experiencing hardship. This ongoing aid operation in Syria is just one example of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian mission, aimed at providing life-saving support to people around the world who are facing dire circumstances due to conflict, natural disasters, and other crises.
Through such initiatives, KSrelief continues to embody the Kingdom's deep commitment to humanitarian values, striving to ease suffering and promote stability in regions impacted by disasters.
