In the 'Ring of Fire' fight in Riyadh, Ukraine's Usyk defeated Britain's Fury to emerge victorious.



- Oleksandr Usyk won the Ring of Fire fight against Tyson Fury by split decision, becoming the first heavyweight boxer to win more than four belts without facing a challenge.


- Sergey Kovalev was dominated by Robin Sirwan Safar in the cruiserweight division during the undercard rounds.


- Daniel Lapin, David Nyika, Isaac Lowe, Itaum, Agit Kabayel, and Mark Chamberlain also won their fights in different weight classes.


RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — 19th May, 2024, SP— Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk defeated British Tyson Fury via a split decision in the Ring of Fire fight staged at Kingdom Arena, Riyadh. It was a spectacularly successful evening. The decision made Usyk the first heavyweight boxer in history to win more than four belts without a challenge.


Undercard rounds, Sergey Kovalev of Russia dominated the cruiserweight division but was defeated by Sweden's Robin Sirwan Safar via a majority decision.


Ukraine's newly-minted champion, Daniel Lapin, defeated Octavio Pudivtr in the opening round.


New Zealander David Nyika won against German Michael Seitz via a technical knockout in the fourth round.


UK's Isaac Lowe defeated Afghanistan's Hasibullah Ahmadi to bring home the International Featherweight Championship.


In the heavyweight class, UK's Itaum won against German Ilija Mezencev via a technical knockout technique in the second round.


German heavyweight Agit Kabayel defeated a never-before-defeated Frank Sanchez.


A battle between British Mark Chamberlain and Nigerian Joshua Wahab ended in favor of the former to win the lightweight category of the World Boxing Council.
