Hadhramaut, February 16, 2025 — In a continued effort to support those in need across Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed 3,000 cartons of dates in the Hadhramaut Governorate. This distribution specifically targeted vulnerable groups, including orphans, widows, displaced persons, and individuals living with chronic illnesses, providing essential sustenance to those facing dire conditions.

The Date Distribution Project, which is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian efforts for 2025, aims to ease the hardships of families affected by ongoing conflict and instability in the region. The distribution of dates is seen as a critical part of the relief package, offering not only nutritional value but also cultural and spiritual significance to those receiving aid.

KSrelief’s initiative in Hadhramaut reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing ongoing assistance to the Yemeni people, alleviating suffering, and helping vulnerable populations regain a sense of hope and stability amid challenging circumstances. The project is part of the Kingdom’s wider humanitarian endeavors, which aim to address the urgent needs of communities across the region.
