Riyadh, September 09, 2023, Dr. Sohail Ejaz Khan, the ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has emphasized the importance of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's visit to India and his participation in the Group of Twenty (G20) leaders' summit. Prince Mohammed is the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized how crucial this trip is to the G20 summit as well as to bilateral ties. Ambassador Khan noted the many engagements the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attended during India's presidency of the G20 Leaders Summit in a message to the Saudi Press Agency on the occasion of the summit. These discussions addressed a wide range of subjects, including the G20's activities, finance, and energy. India's dedication to international collaboration was clear as it welcomed 18,000 delegates from more than 115 different nations at over 220 sessions it conducted across 60 cities. The G20 presidency of India, Ambassador Khan further noted, was crucial in finding inclusive answers to the most pressing problems of the day and advancing overall development. For the G20 year 2023, India assumed the leadership, inviting 19 members, including the European Union, along with nine guest nations and three regional organizations. During this time, India will host more than 40 world leaders.
