Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia emphasizes the importance of HRH the Crown Prince's visit to India

In a recent statement, Dr. Sohail Ejaz Khan, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighted the importance of the visit made by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to India. Dr. Khan emphasized that the Prince's participation in the Group of Twenty (G20) leaders' summit holds great significance. In emphasizing the significance of this visit, he underscored its utmost importance for both the G20 summit and bilateral relations.

In a statement provided exclusively to the Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Khan shed light on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's active participation in a series of crucial meetings during India's presidency of the highly anticipated G20 Leaders Summit. During the course of these meetings, a diverse array of subjects were discussed, encompassing energy, finance, and various G20-related endeavors. India showcased its unwavering dedication to fostering global collaboration by successfully organizing an impressive array of over 220 meetings held across 60 cities. This remarkable feat saw the participation of a staggering 18,000 delegates, hailing from an impressive 115 diverse nationalities.

Ambassador Khan underscored the significant contribution of India's presidency of the G20 in its pursuit of inclusive solutions to tackle the urgent challenges of our era and foster holistic development. In a significant development, India has assumed the prestigious presidency of the G20 for the year 2023. This momentous occasion has garnered immense attention with the participation of 19 esteemed member nations, including the influential European Union. Additionally, the G20 summit has witnessed the presence of nine guest countries and three regional organizations, further amplifying the global significance of this event. In a remarkable display of global diplomacy, India is poised to welcome over 40 esteemed world leaders in the upcoming period.
