During the event, we honor extraordinary individuals, teams, and organizations that push the boundaries of what is possible in their respective fields.
As part of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme's goals, the Multi-Modal Logistic Hub in Yanbu, an industrial city, represents a significant step forward in terms of enhancing the city's competitive advantage.
By building infrastructure and boosting partnerships with multinational corporations, the program aims to diversify the local economy and attract global investment. The program will accomplish this through infrastructure development. In addition to this, it seeks to improve access to international markets and increase domestic production, with the ultimate goal of enhancing Yanbu's economic profitability.
Yanbu is an industrial city, and on Sunday, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu signed three contracts to supply the city's required services and infrastructure. The first contract with a national real estate corporation for the construction of public housing units had a total value of more than 378 million Saudi Riyals.
The second contract entered into with a national firm entails providing school transportation services for male and female students in the industrial city of Yanbu. The total number of Saudi Riyals involved in this deal exceeds 28 million.
While this is going on, the third contract with a national institution includes the operation and maintenance of commission-owned facilities that have a value of more than 9 million Saudi Riyals.
These contracts demonstrate the commission's efforts to provide additional vital services and facilities, improve school transportation services, and provide safe transit options in order to keep up with the rapid growth of the industrial city.
