Riyadh, October 31, 2023, InFlavour 2023, a groundbreaking food and beverage (F&B) mega-event in Saudi Arabia, opened its doors with a focus on global food security through innovation and strategic investments. The inaugural event, supported by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, drew over 200 investors responsible for $700 billion in F&B assets, showcasing the Kingdom's role in the global food industry.
Renowned chefs, including Marco Pierre White and Tala Bashmi, led culinary demonstrations. The event's Main Course stage unveiled winners of the "Food Ecosystems and Arid Climates Challenge," a competition promoting food security solutions in low-rainfall regions.
On the Invest and Indulge stage, thought leaders discussed how Environmental Sustainability Goals (ESG) are shaping food security and sustainability investments. The event highlighted the importance of partnerships and economic growth, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
InFlavour 2023 is expected to host 40,000 attendees, 400 exhibitors, 200 investors, and 200 speakers from 143 countries, making it a significant F&B gathering in the Kingdom, promoting innovation and global competitiveness.
