Inspection of the Tiwafa Company's Readiness for Pilgrims from Southeast Asian Countries by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs


- Dr. Ayed Al-Ghuwaynem, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs, visited the headquarters of the Tiwafa Company for Pilgrims of Southeast Asian Countries in Makkah to evaluate their preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.


- During the visit, Al-Ghuwaynem reviewed the company's achievements, employees, residential buildings, and camps. The team also assessed the company's contracts, distribution of Nusuk cards, and preparations for welcoming pilgrims to Arafa, Muzdalifah, and Mina.


- Al-Ghuwaynem expressed satisfaction with the company's performance and expected over 500,000 pilgrims to arrive in the first three weeks of Dhul-Qi'dah. He praised the company's efforts in providing accommodations and transportation for pilgrims and emphasized the recognition of the "Nusuk" card as an official identification card for pilgrims.



Makkah, May 27, 2024. Dr. Ayed Al-Ghuwaynem, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs, accompanied a number of ministry officials during an inspection tour of the headquarters of the Tiwafa (circumambulation) Company for Pilgrims of Southeast Asian Countries, "Mashareq," in Makkah. The purpose of the tour was to evaluate the company's preparations for the 1445 Hajj season.During the tour, Al-Ghuwaynem received a visual presentation highlighting the company's achievements, employees, residential buildings, and camps under its administration. The team also scrutinized the statistical coverage of signed contracts, the distribution of Nusuk cards, and the company's preparations for welcoming pilgrims to the holy sites of Arafa, Muzdalifah, and Mina. The team also provided an update on the challenges faced by Hajj companies.Following the visit, Al-Ghuwaynem expressed his satisfaction with the company's performance, stating that he expected over 500,000 pilgrims to arrive in the first three weeks of Dhul-Qi'dah. He expressed his admiration for the company's efforts in providing accommodations and transportation for pilgrims in Madinah and other holy places. He also emphasized that all government officials now recognize the "Nusuk" card as an official identification card for pilgrims.Adnan bin Hussein Mandoura, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, responded by stating that the company is committed to using all of its mechanical, human, and technical resources to provide pilgrims with comfort and tranquility, thereby enabling them to fulfill their Hajj obligation in an environment that is characterized by faith.
