Riyadh, October 5, 2023, A prominent assembly of intellectuals, both from Saudi Arabia and abroad, actively engaged in the Publishers Conference, inaugurated on Wednesday as part of the Riyadh International Book Fair. This event, which unfolded on the seventh day of the fair, witnessed the active participation of renowned speakers, industry specialists, leaders in publishing, independent publishers, authors, and content creators.
The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission orchestrated this conference as an integral component of the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, which is scheduled to run from September 28 to October 7 at King Saud University. The overarching theme for this year's edition is "An Inspiring Destination."
This expansive literary gathering features 1,800 publishers, each represented by their dedicated pavilions, totaling 800 pavilions in all. These publishers hail from 32 different countries, contributing to the international diversity and vibrancy of the event. Notably, the Sultanate of Oman holds the esteemed position of being the guest of honor at this year's fair.
