
Makkah, March 29, 2025 – Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz delivered the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the security forces working on the Umrah mission during Ramadan, expressing gratitude for their significant efforts in ensuring the security and safety of visitors to the Grand Mosque.
The minister's comments were made during his visit today to monitor the progress of operations at the Grand Mosque Security Operations Center.
During his inspection, Prince Abdulaziz received a briefing from the Director-General of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, on the successful outcomes of the security plans implemented to serve pilgrims during this year's Umrah season. He also reviewed the efforts of the security forces involved in the Umrah mission.
Prince Abdulaziz examined the latest technologies used for managing movement, including advanced data analysis through artificial intelligence, which has facilitated smooth movement for Umrah performers and worshippers at the Grand Mosque.
He praised the security personnel for their efforts during the implementation of the security plans for Umrah and encouraged them to continue their work.
Several senior officials and high-ranking officers from the Interior Ministry and other agencies joined the minister during his visit.
