Riyadh, February 13, 2024, In a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Interior and the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), a suite of new e-services has been introduced through the Absher electronic platform. The Ministerial Agency of Civil Affairs unveiled these services at a ceremony hosted at the Officers’ Club in Riyadh, graced by the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. Lieutenant General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Yahya, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Civil Affairs, was among the dignitaries present at the inauguration ceremony.

The newly launched services encompass various functionalities, including the capacity to update family registers and facilitate adoptive families' access to ID services through the Absher platform. Additionally, the ministry has introduced a service aimed at streamlining military personnel's administrative procedures via the government section on the platform, alongside the introduction of a virtual civil affairs office.

Improvements extend to family register and newborn registration services, encompassing streamlined payment and recovery processes, as well as enhancements to the Tahseen service.

According to the agency, beneficiaries can readily access their Absher accounts to familiarize themselves with the requisite procedures and prerequisites associated with the newly introduced and enhanced services. These endeavors form part of the ministry's overarching strategy to bolster electronic transactions, leveraging smart e-solutions to elevate the quality and efficiency of services for both citizens and residents alike.
