Amman, November 01, 2023, The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, has achieved the prestigious first-place award for its outstanding field cooperation in operational information. This commendable achievement spans Arab, regional, and international levels and has notably led to the disruption of drug smuggling networks in the year 2023. The recognition was conferred during the 37th Arab Conference of Heads of Drug Control Agencies, currently convened in Amman, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
The esteemed award was presented by Dr. Mohammad bin Ali Kuman, the Jordanian Minister of Interior and Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, to Major General Turki Abdulaziz Al-Hazani, the Assistant Director General of Anti-Narcotics. This recognition underscores the Ministry of Interior's dedication to combating drug-related issues and fostering cooperative efforts on both regional and global scales.
