International Conference in Latin America Addresses Challenges Faced by Muslim Families

Sao Paulo, November 19, 202The third session of the 36th International Conference of Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean was chaired by Sheikh Awad bin Sabti Al-Enezi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for Islamic Affairs. Held in Sao Paulo from November 17 to 19, the conference, themed "Muslim Family among the Values of Islam and Contemporary Challenges," focused on intellectual, social, and legal obstacles faced by Muslim families within minority communities.


Hosted by the Islamic Dawah Center in Brazil and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, the conference delved into the Islamic perspective on resolving divorce-related issues within Muslim families. The discussions aimed to address contemporary challenges and provide insights on navigating these issues while upholding Islamic values.
