The Saudi Center for Community Service, a department within King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, marked International Day of Families in Zaatari Syrian refugee camp, Jordan. People from all over the globe, on May 15th of every year, mark the International Day of Families. The program was accompanied by an awareness lecture at the center. The talk focused on the significance of family cohesion and emphasized the crucial role that families play as the institution that serves as the basis for society.
The speech placed a strong emphasis on the significance of the family unit in the process of bringing up a cultured generation that is aware of its responsibility to maintain human values, customs, and traditions. The discussion was also intended to encourage the concept of social solidarity and cooperation between children and their parents. This endeavor is one of the many aid projects and programs that the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, has created. Through this project, we aim to highlight the importance of the family as the fundamental unit that shapes society.
