Riyadh, August 09, 2023, The Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, along with a delegation comprising representatives from public institutions, national companies, and the private sector, has successfully concluded an official visit to Latin America.
During his official visit to Panama, Engineer Al-Falih held a series of important meetings with key government officials. One of these meetings was with Panama's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, where they discussed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Panama. The focus of the discussion was on finding ways to strengthen economic and investment ties in various sectors that are of mutual interest to both nations. Additionally, Engineer Al-Falih also met with the Minister of Economy and Industry, Federico Alfaro, to further explore potential avenues for collaboration and growth between the two countries. During the meeting, both parties thoroughly examined potential areas of collaboration and partnership, assessed the existing investment prospects within their respective nations, and scrutinized various aspects of investment cooperation and partnership.
During his extensive tour that commenced on July 31, the investment minister engaged in fruitful discussions with numerous high-ranking officials across several Latin American nations. The primary objective of these meetings was to explore avenues for bolstering cooperation and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships in the realm of investment. Additionally, the minister meticulously examined various investment opportunities and deliberated on strategies to expand qualitative investment alliances with the respective countries.
