Makkah, June 18, 2024. The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, met with the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Iraq, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior in Makkah.
At the opening of the conference, the interior minister of Iraq congratulated Saudi Arabia on its efforts to assist pilgrims and provide amenities that allow Allah's guests to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in comfort, security, and peace of mind.
They talked about areas of shared interest and ways to improve the security cooperation that currently exists between the interior ministries of the two countries during the meeting.
The seminar was attended by several officials.
