Iraqi pilgrims returning home are served by the Saudi Red Crescent at its northern borders

Fifty volunteers worked around the clock to provide services such as monitoring vital signs, transportation for the elderly and chronically ill, and comprehensive medical and emergency treatment.




The pilgrims received the best possible medical treatment using ground ambulances, air ambulances, modern tools, and field staff together.



Arar, 23rd of June, 2024. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Northern Borders area has provided medical, emergency, and volunteer aid to over twenty thousand Iraqi pilgrims who left the Jadidat Arar border crossing. Working around-the-clock, fifty volunteers offer these services—monitoring vital signs, arranging transportation for the old and the sick, and rendering complete medical and emergency treatment. Modern tools are used by field workers and air and ground ambulances to give pilgrims the best possible medical treatment.
