, a prominent member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, has forged a noteworthy partnership. Yesterday, ITFC signed a pivotal cooperation and training agreement with the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia (SCOPI). The primary objective of this collaboration is to bolster the income of smallholder coffee farmers while simultaneously aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, this strategic alliance aims to stimulate and advance the coffee trade sector in Indonesia. In a groundbreaking agreement, the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) has committed to providing training to coffee farmers in member states of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The aim of this initiative is to empower these farmers with scientific and professional skills, ultimately elevating their cultural and economic standing. By doing so, the ITFC hopes to foster a significant and sustainable boost in coffee production in these regions. A group of thirty trainees hailing from Indonesia recently took part in a series of intensive training sessions. The sessions were specifically designed to enhance their skills in the areas of monitoring and evaluation tools, as well as the development of business proposals.
