Jeddah, September 27, 2023, The President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Muhammad Al Jasser, met yesterday with the President of Guyana, Mohamed Irfaan Ali, in Georgetown.
During the meeting, they discussed the aspirations of Guyana to become a world leader in the field of energy. Also discussed were climate security and the export of agricultural crops and halal meat.
The IsDB president, accompanied by Guyana's Minister of Finance Ashni Singh and Minister of Agriculture Dr. Zulfikar Mustapha, also visited a corn and soy farm that produces strategic crops needed for raising livestock and poultry.
