Doha, September 26, 2023, The Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Qatari Ministry of Culture hosted the 12th Conference of Ministers of Culture of the Islamic World, which opened on Monday evening with the theme "Towards Renewing Cultural Work in the Islamic World." A number of ministers of culture, delegations from ISESCO member states, and members from other relevant regional and international organizations all attended the two-day event. In light of its vision and strategic goals, ISESCO's efforts to promote cultural work were examined at the conference, along with the report of its affiliate Heritage Committee and the document outlining best practices for cultural policies.
