Islamic Affairs in the Eastern Region Gives Out Holy Quran Copies to Pilgrims Leaving


- The Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs has begun giving copies of the Holy Quran to local residents.


- The King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex received the Quran copies as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for printing.


- The distribution process will take place at five border crossings with Gulf countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.


Today, on June 20th, 2024, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in the Eastern Region, commenced the distribution of the copies of the Holy Quran to the residents. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques gifted these copies to the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex for printing. The ports in the region are responsible for distributing these documents, which are available in a wide range of formats and translations in a multitude of different languages, to pilgrims who are leaving for their various countries.According to the government, the distribution process will involve five border crossings with Gulf countries. These border crossings are shared with Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Oman. Over the next few days the Eastern Regional office of the ministry is going to keep bidding farewell to Hajj pilgrims and give them presents in the days that follow. We will disseminate approximately 41,740 copies of the Holy Quran throughout the ports of the region to achieve this objective.Those pilgrims who are leaving have conveyed their gratitude to the Kingdom for the efforts it has made to serve them, and they have requested that Allah Almighty bless the Kingdom and the initiatives it has undertaken.
