Islamic Affairs Minister: 9th Conference of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministers Discusses Efforts to Promote Correct Understanding of Islam

 The conference will discuss topics such as the conflict between Al-Quds and Palestine, Islamic Dawah, mosque maintenance, appointment of imams and preachers, and programs and responsibilities assigned to them.
Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, and Executive Chairman of the Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World, stated that the ministry works to establish communication bridges with Ministries of Islamic Affairs in various countries.

The ministry strives to build communication bridges with Ministries of Islamic Affairs in different countries, according to Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, and Executive Chairman of the Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World.


The objectives of the next 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Makkah are to advance moderation, fight terrorism, strengthen relationships, and strengthen Islamic activities.


The conference will cover a range of subjects, including the dispute between Palestine and Al-Quds, Islamic Dawah, mosque upkeep, the appointment of imams and preachers, and the duties and programs delegated to them.

The ministry operates in compliance with the wise leadership's directives to forge communication links with Ministries of Islamic Affairs across the globe, according to Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, as well as Executive Chairman of the Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World. In addition, Dr. Al-Sheikh is the Executive Chairman of the Ministry. He clarified that the objectives of these endeavors are to strengthen Islamic work, foster relationships and cooperation, encourage moderation, and fight terrorism.In preparation for Sunday's 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Makkah, he made his remarks at a news conference on Saturday. The conference is titled "The Role of the Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf in Promoting the Principles of Moderation and Consolidating the Values of Moderation" by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. Representatives of Islam from more than sixty nations will be present at the meeting.The conference, according to him, aims to promote proper understanding of Islam worldwide in line with the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), enhance Islamic unity, and coordinate and work in the fields of Dawah, Awqaf, and Islamic affairs.The minister stated that the conference will look into issues like Islamic Dawah, mosque maintenance, and other matters that affect the welfare of the Islamic nation in addition to the causes of the dispute between Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Palestine. The conference will also include the sharing of experiences with regard to the appointment of preachers and imams, as well as the duties and programs that are delegated to them.
