Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs launched a four-day educational course in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with over 1,500 participants, including imams, preachers, and students.

Addis Ababa, September 13, 2024 – The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has launched a significant educational course in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, with over 1,500 participants, including imams, preachers, and students. This initiative is part of the ministry’s broader program of activities implemented in coordination with international ministries, associations, and Islamic institutions.


The four-day course aims to impart religious knowledge rooted in the Holy Quran and Sunnah, fostering values of moderation and tolerance while combating extremism and radicalism. It also seeks to highlight Saudi Arabia's contributions to serving Islam and the Muslim community globally, as well as enhance the skills of those involved in Dawah to better serve their communities with a message of peace and social responsibility.
