Manila, October 02, 2024 – The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has officially inaugurated its first specialized scientific course aimed at training and qualifying imams and preachers in Manila. This significant event was conducted through the efforts of the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in the Philippines and marks a vital step in enhancing the capabilities of religious leaders in the region.
The three-day course is expected to benefit over 160 participants, including both male and female imams and mosque preachers. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to promote religious moderation and to ensure that religious teachings align with contemporary values of peace and understanding.
