Jeddah, March 22, 2025, The cultural program for the second edition of the Islamic Arts Biennale at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah offered a unique interactive exhibition on the creation and preservation of the Holy Kaaba's Kiswa. This 30-minute educational experience is one of the standout cultural activities of Ramadan associated with the biennale.
The exhibition invites visitors to explore the Kiswa's creation stages, including calligraphy printing, sewing, gilding, perfuming, and tools for Kaaba cleansing, along with a historical overview from 1927 to contemporary manufacturing techniques.
The experience also features documentary films like "I Am Unique" and "Kiswa (Cover) of the Kaaba," providing visitors with a profound understanding of this important Islamic heritage.
