In a recent statement, the Muslim World League (MWL) has unequivocally condemned the latest acts of violence carried out by the Israeli occupation government. The League expressed its deep outrage over the bombardment of a school located west of Gaza City and an assault on a gathering of displaced individuals near the Qastal Towers, situated to the east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. These attacks have tragically resulted in significant loss of life and numerous injuries among displaced civilians.

The condemnation was issued by the MWL Secretariat General, with the statement being spearheaded by Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars. Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa denounced the persistent and brutal violence directed towards innocent civilians and civilian facilities, highlighting these actions as blatant violations of international and humanitarian laws and norms.

In his statement, Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa called upon the international community to urgently address these grave issues. He emphasized the critical need for immediate intervention to halt the ongoing killings conducted by the Israeli military and to put an end to the systematic atrocities being inflicted upon innocent people. The MWL’s statement reflects a broader call for global solidarity and action to ensure the protection of human rights and the adherence to international legal standards in conflict zones.
