Jeddah, November 06, 2023, The Israeli Occupation Heritage Minister, Amichai Eliyahu, made racist remarks in which he advocated using a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) denounced these remarks. In flagrant violation of international law, conventions, and resolutions, the OIC claimed that these statements represent extremism, hate speech, incitement to violence, organized terrorism, and the ongoing genocide that the Israeli occupation perpetrates against Palestinian civilians on a daily basis. Furthermore, the OIC stressed that this discourse is reprehensible and a continuation of the mindset of extremist terrorism.
In addition, it demanded that the international community denounce the Israeli occupation and put concrete measures in place to stop its military aggression, ongoing killings, and genocide against the Palestinian people.
