Quattro progetti medici volontari in Camerun sono avviati da KSrelief

KSrelief launched four volunteer medical projects in Maroua, Cameroon, focusing on general surgery, endocrine surgery, urology, and obstetrics/gynecology.

Yaoundé, January 15, 2025 – In its continuous commitment to humanitarian service, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully carried out four volunteer medical projects in the city of Maroua, located in the Republic of Cameroon. The medical projects, which took place on Sunday, focused on several critical healthcare areas, including general surgery, endocrine surgery, urology, and obstetrics and gynecology. These initiatives are part of Saudi Arabia’s broader humanitarian mission to provide vital assistance to underserved communities around the world.


A dedicated volunteer medical team from KSrelief conducted extensive examinations, offering healthcare services to individuals in need. So far, the team has assessed 150 patients, providing much-needed medical support to those with serious health conditions. The team also performed 49 surgeries, alleviating the suffering of numerous individuals and improving their overall health and quality of life.


This effort is a testament to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes. Through KSrelief, the Kingdom has been consistently reaching out to communities in need, delivering essential medical care, providing emergency relief, and improving lives across the globe. The medical initiative in Maroua further underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the well-being of vulnerable populations worldwide and contributing to global healthcare and development goals.
