Jeddah, January 30, 2024, Eng. Hani Salem Sonbol, the CEO of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), met with Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, the Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), and Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalab, the CEO of Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM Bank) at the ITFC headquarters. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and strengthen cooperation.
During the meeting, they signed the work plan for the year 2024, which is focused on "Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises Export Projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." The goal of this initiative is to enhance the export capabilities of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, the Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group. This collaboration and the signed work plan underscore the commitment to supporting SMEs and fostering economic development through enhanced export capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
