Riyadh, March 05, 2024, On the sidelines of the LEAP 2024 exhibition and under the patronage of Prince Mishaal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Jahez company has unveiled ten self-driving vehicles for delivering orders within the Transport General Authority (TGA) regulatory sandbox program.
These vehicles, designed to travel at 7 km/h, are equipped with five front and back sensors, featuring a battery life of up to 12 hours. They are also equipped with a global positioning system (GPS) and have a cargo capacity of 19 liters.
The introduction of these self-driving vehicles aligns with the TGA's Regulatory Sandbox Program, which aims to support modern transport patterns in a flexible environment that encourages innovation. This initiative reflects the Kingdom's commitment to embracing and promoting cutting-edge technologies in the transportation sector.
