Riyadh, November 18, 2023, The "Japan Festival 2023," organized by the Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, JETRO Riyadh Office, and the Japanese Association, in collaboration with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, commenced on Friday at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh. The two-day event, concluding on November 18, has attracted a substantial number of visitors, including Saudi families and residents in the Kingdom.
The festival boasts an array of attractions, featuring an exhibition showcasing various Japanese companies, along with captivating artistic and cultural performances. Attendees are treated to anime singing concerts featuring beloved characters such as Captain Tsubasa and Grendizer.
Adding to the cultural richness, the festival includes demonstrations of Japanese martial and self-defense arts, including Aikido and Karate, performed by children from the Japanese School. The diverse offerings of the Japan Festival aim to foster cultural exchange and strengthen the bonds of friendship between Japan and Saudi Arabia.
