Jeddah, February 06, 2024, The Jeddah Central Development Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has finalized four significant construction contracts valued at SAR 12 billion. These contracts pertain to the development of three iconic architectural marvels—namely the Stadium, the Opera House, and the Oceanarium—alongside infrastructure construction for the initial phase of the Jeddah Central destination.
Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleem, CEO of the Jeddah Central Development Company, made this announcement during a ceremony held recently. He emphasized that construction activities for the key architectural landmarks and initial phase infrastructure will commence as per a meticulously planned timeline, ensuring adherence to the highest international standards.
The Jeddah Central Development Company aims to unveil the Jeddah Central destination to the public by the end of 2027, welcoming visitors from both within the Kingdom and abroad. The destination is set to feature a diverse array of architectural wonders, including the Stadium, the Opera House, and the Oceanarium, alongside various amenities such as a sandy beach, a pier, a seafront promenade, and a marina. This ambitious project signifies a significant step towards enhancing Jeddah's cultural and recreational landscape, catering to the needs and aspirations of residents and tourists alike.
