Jeddah, August 24, 2023, In a groundbreaking announcement, the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) has revealed that Jeddah, a city known for its vibrant sports culture, has been chosen as the esteemed host for the highly anticipated Next-Gen tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals. This momentous decision will see Jeddah proudly showcase its world-class facilities and hospitality to tennis enthusiasts from around the globe for an impressive five-year period, spanning from 2023 to 2027. In a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Tennis Federation, the inaugural finals are set to take place from November 28 to December 2, 2023.
The highly anticipated tournament, featuring the crème de la crème of eight under-21 players from across the globe, is set to unfold at the prestigious King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. The upcoming tournament, set to take place this year, signifies the sixth installment of the highly anticipated finals. It is worth noting that the previous five editions of this prestigious event were triumphantly hosted in the captivating city of Milan, Italy.
