HAIL — Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, at the helm of the Al-Hilal football team, has dismissed claims of any discord between himself and the players. He emphasized that such rumors would not elicit a response.
During a post-match press conference following the Al-Jabalain match, Jesus was asked about recent incidents, including a greeting with Salman Al-Faraj as he was being substituted, reported conflicts with certain players, and Neymar's absence in the game.
In response, Jesus stated, "I do not respond to rumors. I am the coach, and I communicate directly with the players." He elaborated on his conversation with Salman Al-Faraj, explaining that he had praised his performance and encouraged his gradual return to match fitness.
Addressing questions aimed at creating controversy, Jesus reaffirmed his role as the coach and his right to communicate with the players. Regarding Neymar, he mentioned their strong relationship and expressed confidence that Neymar, once in form, would enhance Al-Hilal's attacking style.
