Judges of the King Abdulaziz International Competition Final Round On the fourth day, take in the Quran recitations of 26 participants.


August 14, 2024, saw Makkah host the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran.


In the ultimate round of the competition, which comprised 13 recitations in the morning and 13 in the evening, there were 26 competitors.


The tournament will feature 174 contenders from 123 nations over the course of six days after 84 participants from various countries performed recitations for the panel of judges.



"Makkah, August 14, 2024." In the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran, 26 contestants performed their recitations for the judging committee. The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. Thirteen recitations were held in the morning and thirteen in the evening by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. The competition, which has five separate categories in which the competitors participate, is held at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The committee has now heard the recitations of eighty-four participants from a wide range of international nations.Iran, Guinea, Germany, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Morocco, Réunion, Syria, Côte d'Ivoire, Bangladesh, India, Kuwait, Sweden, Sudan, Ethiopia, Oman, Pakistan, Myanmar, Benin, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, and Guyana were among the nations represented by recitations given to the panel of judges today. The battle will go on for a sixth consecutive day starting tomorrow.The competition's final phase, which got underway last Saturday under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, included 174 competitors from 123 different nations. The tournament was opened by Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. The tournament is located in Makkah at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. A total of SAR 4,000,000 is up for grabs.
